BYRON BAY BREWERY, 1 Skinners Shoot Road, Byron Bay NSW 2481.

If you know the tail of this place it started out as a piggery in 1898 owned by NORCO. In 1984 it was bought by a music promoter and hosted some famous bands like The Pogues, Violent Femmes, Crowned House and Paul Kelly and was the site for the first East Coast Blues & Roots festival. Quite apt really cause we’re going to rock this joint all night long on Saturday night 14th September and turn the place from what is known locally as the PIGGERY to a HOGGERY.

And as they say, you don’t run out of beer at a brewery!! We will have a great band on Saturday night in the auditorium and there will be a DJ in the back beer garden and a restaurant on site for food so you don't go hungry.

So how is it going to roll

Friday - We will be set up at the Byron Bay Brewery for registrations and you can then make your way to your accomodation. When anyone visits Byron, they want to visit the Stropp & Hoges’ Beach Hotel. It has changed hands some years ago but it is an institution on Byron Bay so we have told the Beach Hotel to expect 300 Hoggies on Friday night for a few frothy’ s and a feed. This will be at your own pace as we understand not everyone can get there for Friday but that’s where we’ll be.

Saturday - We’ll have some guided rides around the Northern Rivers coastline and hinterland and we will end up in Ballina for some lunch & Chapter Challenge. From there we will head back to Byron, park up the bikes and head on over to the Byron Bay Brewery and dig in for the night. Beers, Burgers and a Band will carry the night through till late and catch up with old friends and make some new ones.

Sunday - we are working on a Thunder Run around Byron Shire in the morning obviously after a coffee and a bacon & egg roll so we can show the Byron Shire towns what Harley Davidson really looks like. We will end up where we started the weekend at the Beach Hotel Byron Bay for everyone to say their goodbyes and head off or stay in Byron for a longer stay.

As we have only just had confirmation this week, we are madly putting a rally flyer together and getting the website updated and registrations will open ASAP but definately in the next 2 weeks. At this stage we have 500 tickets available which is largely due to space at the brewery so make sure you let your members know to register early so they are not disappointed.
